In the EcoControl™ range, HQ is one of the first UK pest control supplies companies to introduce a low energy standard design. The EcoLite™ UV tubes used in this range of electric fly zappers emit two and a half times the effective UVA light output from standard tubes and can last up to three times as long. EcoLite tubes therefore save on electricity – good news for the end user’s energy bill – and they do not require chokes or starters so have fewer components to change or recycle. A number of HQ’s electronic fly killers also have designed in glue boards for added efficiency.
The UltraControl™ range of electric fly zappers use more conventional technology and are used in domestic, commercial and professional applications, where the customer requires a product that is more straightforward and as easy to maintain as possible.
The VISU range is a new concept in professional electronic fly killers. It has been designed to be adaptable to suit any back or front of house environment. However, product design goes hand in hand with a fast and effective catch rate. The eye catching stainless steel design combines the use of high powered shatter proof UV tubes as standard and a glue board. Built-in design features also mean that maintenance is quick and easy.
Glue Boards
UltraGuard™ is HQ’s own factory brand of glue board, allowing direct access by any pest control company to HQ’s innovative pest control products. UltraGuard™ glue boards are manufactured and stocked in various sizes and colours and are coated in a non-drip, long-lasting formulation and are recommended for change every 4-6 weeks.
GluGuard™ is HQ Hygiene Supplies’ range of specialist glue boards and traps for rodents, flies and crawling insects. In the RG™ series of glue boards designed for rat elimination, HQ has come up with a number of ingenious solutions. A rat glue trap in the form of the Giant Rat Glue Board has unprecedented adhesive coverage with over 132 square inches and nearly half a pound of catching power. The product is pre-bated and ideal for use under seed or grain pallets as a clean-out tool in warehouses. HQ also has the Wood Stop – a new wood glue board with an irresistible vanilla scent to attract the rodent and glue strength twice as strong as card or paper traps when a more potent weapon is required. The Rat Series is completed by the 48R Series Rat Glue Trays – guaranteed to be effective when used under normal conditions.
HQ also supplies mouse glue traps with the specialist Mice Series Glue Board range, which is available in different strengths. The 72MB Series mouse glue traps will not harden for at last one full year and have a huge catching area. Making up the mouse glue board range are the MG1, perforated to fold or tear for placement next to walls and folds to form a tunnel; and the MG ECO which is a smaller and more economical version of the MG1.
